Horses are instinctual, relational beings that respond to the individual’s non verbal, unconscious emotions ‘in the moment’. Trauma, fear and anxiety are often caused in relationships. Therefore, to heal the trauma healing needs to occur during the process of building healthy relationships.

Horses read our energy and establish connection with us once there is trust and respect. Horses have an innate ability to mirror thoughts, and behaviours and give individuals instant feedback about how their emotions and behaviour are being conveyed.
